Health Services and a modern Hospital Project

The Trust has been consistently supporting the existing Government Hospital at Losal for improvement in facilities for patients, both in indoor as well as outdoor since last several years. The Trust has tried to meet every request received from the Hospital Authorities during these years, be it Granite cladded Chairs for sitting of patients and patient parties; mattresses for indoor beds; linen for patients; electric fans; air coolers; small small medical apparatus; aluminium partitions for creating room for dialysis etc etc. During Covid period also the Trust extended every support that was needed by the Hospital Authorities.

The present Government Hospital has been operating from the magnificent premises built over 70 years back by and with the initiative of the then Bhamashah of Losal Seth Dedraj ji Khetan. With increase in requirement of space as well as wear and tear of the building, the Govt Authorities have been approaching this Trust for making further construction in the existing premises which not being found feasible, the Trust decided to construct a completely new and massive building for a modern 50 bedded hospital having built up area of about 25,000 square feet on the land purchased by the Trust out of adjoining plot of land to the existing Hospital.

This proposal of the Trust having been accepted and approved by the Govt of Rajasthan, the Trust has moved forward and taken following steps and made construction as detailed below:

• Purchased land parcel of about 33,000 square feet out of the adjoining plot of land from the erstwhile land owners.
• Engaged Messrs MediSys Project Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a well reputed and experienced Firm of professionals composed of Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers and Medical Consultants for preparation of drawings and supervision of construction until completion.
• Engaged experienced and reputed contractors for execution of the project of constructing a G+1 storey building having about 12500 square feet built up area in each floor with foundation of G+3 storied structure to take care of expansion and consequent need of further construction in future.
• Have completed entire foundation work for G+3 storied building and structural work of G+1 building.
• In the meanwhile, the Govt of Rajasthan has upgraded this hospital from a Community Health Centre of 50 bed capacity to Sub District Hospital of 100 bed capacity. In view thereof, the ongoing construction has been kept on hold and as required by the Rajasthan Govt Authorities, the Trust has submitted revised plans by adding one more storey of 12500 sft and also offering more vacant land to meet the increased requirements and the Government’s approval to such plan is still awaited.
